Master all upgrade systems to maximize your Brainrot collection efficiency, reach deeper zones, and dominate the game.

🎯 Upgrade Priority Order

⚠️

Critical: Upgrade in the Right Order!

The order you upgrade matters significantly for progression speed. Follow this priority to optimize your gameplay.

1️⃣

Speed

Top Priority

Reach deeper zones for rarer Brainrots

2️⃣

Carry Capacity

High Priority

Collect multiple Brainrots per trip

3️⃣

Base Platforms

Medium Priority

Unlock more Brainrot slots

4️⃣

Brainrot Individual

Low Priority

Boost individual earnings

⚡ Speed Upgrades

Why Speed is #1 Priority

Speed is the most critical upgrade in the game because it directly determines:

  • How far you can venture into the field
  • Access to higher rarity zones (Uncommon → Rare → Celestial)
  • Ability to return to base before lava surges
  • Whether you can reach celestial spawns in time
  • Overall income potential from better Brainrots

Pro Tip: Every point of speed opens new possibilities. Don't stop upgrading until you can comfortably reach rare zones!

📍 Speed Upgrade Shop Location

Find the Upgrade Shop near the starting line in the game lobby. It's usually marked and easy to spot when you spawn.

Treadmill Progression Tiers:

Tier Name Strategic Role
1 Wooden Base Perimeter Exploration
2 Diamond Mid-Field Access
3 Ruby Outrunning Early Lava
4 Nature Deep Field Excursions
5 Heaven Consistent Godly Farming
6 Steampunk High-Tier Traversal
7 Future Near-Apex Speed
8 Electric APEX (8,000 Speed)
Flight-like Physics

⚠️ Important: Rebirths Reset Speed!

When you rebirth, your speed will reset to 0. Make sure to accumulate high-earning Brainrots at your base before rebirthing so you can quickly regain speed afterward. Learn more on the Rebirths page.

🏃 Kinetic Mastery & Physics

Handling High Velocity

At Tier 8 (Electric Treadmill), you reach 8,000 speed. This fundamentally changes the game's physics.

  • The "Flight" Effect: You will glide and momentum will carry you significantly further than expected.
  • Braking: Use walls or pillars to forcefully stop your momentum.
  • Micro-Movements: tap movement keys lightly; holding them will launch you into lava.
  • Practice: Test your speed in safe zones before risking a Celestial run.
🌪️

Control the Chaos

Speed kills... if you can't control it.

🎒 Carry Capacity Upgrades

Why Carry Capacity Matters

Carry capacity determines how many Brainrots you can collect in a single trip, which directly affects your efficiency:

  • Fewer trips needed - Save time on back-and-forth
  • Less lava risk - Spend less time in the field
  • Better income rate - Collect more valuable Brainrots faster
  • Efficient rare zone farming - Maximize each dangerous journey

Upgrade Strategy

While speed is #1, don't neglect carry capacity. Here's the optimal approach:

Early Game:

Focus 80% on speed, 20% on carry capacity

Mid Game:

Balance 50/50 between speed and carry capacity

Late Game:

Maximize carry capacity once speed is sufficient

📍 Carry Shop / Upgrade Shop Location

Carry capacity upgrades are available at either a dedicated "Carry Shop" or within the same Upgrade Shop where you buy speed. Look for the carry capacity option in the upgrade menu.

🏠 Base Upgrades

Platform & Floor Expansion

Your base starts with limited platforms for placing Brainrots. Upgrading your base unlocks:

  • More platforms - Additional slots for Brainrots
  • Multiple floors - Vertical expansion for even more capacity
  • Higher income potential - More Brainrots = more passive cash
  • Optimization opportunities - Organize by rarity/type

Priority: Upgrade base platforms once you have sufficient speed and carry capacity. No point having slots if you can't fill them efficiently!

Base Upgrade Strategy

1.
Wait Until Mid Game

Don't rush base upgrades early - focus on speed first

2.
Expand When Slots Are Full

Only upgrade when all current platforms are occupied

3.
Prioritize Quality Over Quantity

Better to have fewer high-value Brainrots than many low-value ones

4.
Replace Lower Tier Brainrots

As you get rarer Brainrots, replace common ones even if slots aren't full

💎 Individual Brainrot Upgrades

Enhancing Individual Brainrot Earnings

Each Brainrot at your base can be upgraded individually to boost its income generation. This is a lower priority upgrade but becomes important in late game.

When to Upgrade Individual Brainrots:

  • You have high speed and carry capacity
  • All base platforms are filled
  • You're in late game with stable income
  • You have rare/celestial Brainrots worth boosting

Upgrade Priority by Type:

Celestial Brainrots First
Emerald Mutated First
Diamond Mutated Second
Rare Zone Standard Third
Common/Uncommon Last

📊 Quick Upgrade Reference

Upgrade Type Priority Impact When to Focus
Speed (+1, +5, +10) Highest Access to deeper zones, better Brainrots Always - never stop until maxed
Carry Capacity High Collect more per trip, save time After reaching ~100 speed
Base Platforms/Floors Medium More Brainrot slots, higher total income When current platforms are full
Individual Brainrot Boost Low Enhanced earnings per Brainrot Late game with spare income
